The importance of practicing the sunnah of prophet sw.(part-1)

Today, the time of Fitnah there is no way but to hold the sunnah of prophet sw. we can save ourselves from this period of fitnah by practicing the sunnah of prophet sw. what prophet sw. indicating in his speech/sermon at the last hajj/pilgrimage. He gave a very profound sermon and he warned about it. He mentioned after me and my khulafaee rashedah there will raise lots of fitnah on my Deen. People will fabricate my hadith and will invent lots of new ahaadith what i didn’t tell you at all.
And he gave a clue for salvation from this fitnah. He said  In that time you won’t be misguided if you hold firmly two things and that Two things i left for you that if you hold them firmly then you won’t be misguided which are Qur’an and sunnah.

What is the sunnah of prophet sw.?
To briefly the word sunnah is a Arabic word. Meaning path, way, synonyms attariqah meaning method, assi-rah  meaning costume etc. Plural is sunan what Allah swt. used in the qur’an 3:137
The definition of sunnah is; the way prophet sw. order to do things, the way he did, his approval and what was his daily routine that’s all are called sunnah. This is general definition. Also, there are lots of definition can be found  by the Islamic scholars. For example the some faqih saying after the fard and wajib whatever comes from the prophet sw. they all are called sunnah.

What Allah swt. saying about the sunnah?

Firstly,
The orders, advise, recommendation comes from prophet sw. they all come from Allah swt. nothing his own speech. What Allah swt. making it very clear 53:3,4
And he does not say anything by his own desire. It is but a divine revelation, which is revealed to him”

Secondly, Allah swt. making it clear that once anything comes from Allah swt. you don’t have right to ignore it or you can’t change it nether you can make it in your own desire. 33:36“And no Muslim man or woman has any right in the affair, when Allah and His Noble Messenger have decreed a command regarding it”

Thirdly, if anyone disobey Allah swt. won’t love them and they will fall in anger of Allah swt.
33:36 “and whoever does not obey the command of Allah and His Noble Messenger, has indeed clearly gone very astray”

3:32 Say: "Obey God and His Messenger;" and if they refuse (then remember) God does not love disbelievers”

Fainaly, Allah swt. ordering us to accept whatever he brought for us and avoid what he forbidden for us.
59:7
“and accept whatever the Noble Messenger gives you; and refrain from whatever he forbids you; and fear Allah; indeed Allah’s punishment is severe’’

Now what prophet sw. saying about his sunnah in his ahaadiths?
There are lots of hadith he saying he who disobey/ignore/avoid his sunnah he won’t get the jannah.
In one hadith narrated by abu hurairah ra. prophet sw. saying “All my ummah will enter to the jannah except those who will deny me he asked who are denier o prophet sw.? he replied those who will follow me means my sunnah they will enter to the jannah and those who disobey me they are denier” (bukhari)

Practicing sunnah of prophet sw. how were the prophet sw. companions and salfe saleheen / tabeen?

Firstly, his companions Whatever prophet sw. order them the way he ordered them they tried to do exactly that way and they were not used to find it is heard or easy or it is wajib, sunnah, nafl, they just try to do it.

For example; when the gold it wasn’t haram yet. prophet sw. used to wear a gold ring in his hand they were used to wear it and when Allah swt. made it haram for male. prophet sw. took it off and they all took them off as well even every footstep of prophet sw. they used to follow him.
After his death, the period of sahabah they were used to follow his sunnah the way they were used to at the time of prophet sw. and tabeen, tobe tabeen did same way until the 4th century   of hijri years. And after that the changes, fabrication,  misinterpritation and so on.

So, what we got from the quran, hadith, the khulafae rashedah and prophets sw. companions and tabeen they all are proving that there is no way but, to practice prophet sw. sunnah in our daily life and no chance to ignore or avoid it.

Now the question is what is our position on practicing sunnah of prophet sw. or how much are we aware of practicing sunnah of prophet sw?

There are three type of people some are very strict about the practicing sunnah but not the fard as much as they emphasise on sunnah. They do not care practicing some fards  but, sunnah strictly. for example Allah swt. saying not to have interest but, they have although, they know its fard to avoid interest. What Allah swt. saying about it

"but if you do not leave the interest, then you are warned of the declaration of war against you by Allah and His Messenger. If, however, you repent even now (and forego interest), you are entitled to your principal; do no wrong, and no wrong will be done to you.” (2:279)

Another type are they think practicing sunnah is not that much important but they are fairly aware of practicing fard.
In this context Here i must make it very clear that we should understand the difference between sunnah and fard. We shouldn’t  exaggerate or over emphasise over the fard. There is a hadith if anyone missed a fard and to compensate it if he practise sunnah in his hole life the sunnah won’t be a made up for that fard. We have to be valanced to practicing sunnah and fard. We have to emphasise on them as they are.

On the other hand, some people they don’t care about the sunnah and fard even they don’t try to understand They just come to pray for the Friday prayer and they think only that’s will help them to go to jannnah. But, praying Friday prayer with jama’a the law of shraia saying its wajib as it is wajib to pray other five time prayers with jama’a. But,the Friday prayer has other merits.

Dear brothers! I would like to conclude this here by saying aone of the famous hadith of prophet sw. “whoever loves my sunnah he loves me and who loves me he will be with me in jannah” As we all want to go jannah we should follow his sunnah the way he showed to us.

May Allah swt. give us tawfiq to love his sunnah by practicing his sunnah in our daily life.
May Allah swt. grant us a place in jannah with him.
May Allah give us ability to come forward to learn the true teaching of Qur’an and sunnah.

The modest way of dressing for a man and women.(part-2)

From last week we were talking about one of the most important topic which is the modest way of dressing for a man and women.

In last week we talked  the hijab of the women and the way they should be. Today, we will talk few more things about it like the difference between NIQAB and hijab, and the hijab of a men and some miss conception in our socity about the mahram and non mahram.
first, Is women are supposed to cover their face too meaning should they wear niqab too?
In this context there is a little ikhtilaf with jaij/ najaiz but, all the scholar/ulamah are agreed that it is best practice to cover their face too meaning wearing NIQAB.The main fact is Allah swt. saying not to show your beauty to others except the mahram. A person’s face is a central communication center and there is a much much possibility to create fitna if a women keep open her face and This is why a group of Ulamaa saying its wajib to cover women’s their face too.

On the other hand, Those who are saying its not Wajib means not mandatory but best practice. their evidence/Dalil is in the verse of the hijab as Allah swt saying  “do not show your beauty except that part which is visible itselfs and put the headscarf on your chest” in this verse Allah swt. didnt make it clear to cover women their face as he made it clear to hide their beauty of chest. Also, its not clear that the word “except that part which is visible itself” the meaning could be included face like hands and feet.

And also, there are few hadiths that indicating that in the early time of Islam  some muslim women wasn’t used to cover their face like

1. Narrated by AYSHA Ra. She saying one day Asma binte abu bakar came to my house wearing not thick enough clothes suddenly, prophet sw. saw her but, he turn his face away while he saying “O Asma! When a girl reach her puberty she shouldnt show her beauty except this and that and he was pointing the face and hands” the hadith mantioned in abu dawood and allama albani proved this is a mursal hadith.

2.from abdullah ibn abbas describing nasaee” In the last hajj of prophet sw.young man fazal ibn abbass was with him while they were riding a camel and a girl from qath’am tribe she was asking something to prophet sw.and fazal ibn abbas was looking at that girl but, prophet swt.turned fazal’s face away” this hadith also mantioned in bukhari, muslim and abu dawood. This hadiths also indicating that the girl’s face wasnt cover thats why fazal was looking at her. And there are few more hadiths not directly but indirectly indicating the niqab wasnt compulsory.
now, what we believe means i believe
that the wearing the NIQAB this is a higher status of taqwa of a women. So, our stand is we wont be strict on it but, we recomond it. We will leave on their will meaning its upto the women wether they will hide their face or not. But, if its clear that the reveling face it will create fitnah then they should wear a niqab too.
Again what we have to know as we talked in last week they have to cover themselves their hole body they should wear a hijab there are lots of  benifits of wearing a hijab like:
1. It makes differnt from the non-muslim. The hijab its identity of muslim women. the hijab identify they are muslims or not 33:59

2.the hijab Its a best protection from any kind eveteasing. 33:59

3.the hijab Its a way to protect herselves her phisycal rights.

finally, the hijab Its a way to protecting oneselves from the hellfire and having the jannah.

Now what about the modesty of the man’s clothing?
firstly, in the Qur’an and hadith mostly emphasise to cover the women themselves more than the men as the women are the main fact for the hijab. But, Islam telling to the men as well to keep  safe their modesty. Also, men has duty to keep safe themselves  from the shaytan and their family too. 24:29
How should a man dress?
1. The clothes shouldn’t be similar to the women.
It is haraam for women to imitate men and men to imitate women in the way they dress. Strictly, Islam disallow the similarity of man and women. What prophet sw. Saying narreted by abdullah ibn abbas RA. “Prophet sw.saying Curse of Allah to the women those who try to be similar with a man and curse of Allah to the man those who try to be similar with a women”. (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5546).

But,unfortunately there are some muslim men or youngstar in our socaity they act or wears clothes like a girls.

2.The clothes has to be lose enough so, the body shape isn’t visible. also, the clothes has to be thick so that nothing can be seen from the outside.

3.the clothes Shouldnt drag on the floor with pride. It is haraam for the Muslim man to let any garment he wears hang down beneath his ankles (an action known as isbaal); the limit for any garment is above the ankles.

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (R.A) that the Prophet (pbuh) said; on the day of judgement Allah wont look at those who drag their trousers under the ankles with pride  in another narration saying   “Whatever of the lower garment is beneath the ankles is in the Fire.” (al-Bukhaari, 5450. )  another very important thing is some people pray with law trousers and short t-shirts which revels their backside while they go to ruku’ and sajood.this is very common issue and its haram. The people bihind the line they get disgusted to see that.

4.It is forbiden for men to wear pure silk and gold: there is a hadith
Abu Moosa (R.A) reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said: “Gold and silk have been permitted for the females of my ummah and forbidden for the males.”  (Tirmizi)  But,The scholars allowed men to wear silk in certain exceptional circumstances like who are sick may also be permitted to wear silk to relieve their suffering, as Anas (R.A) reported that the Prophet (pbuh) allowed ‘Abd al-Rahmaan ibn ‘Awf(R.A) and Ibn al-Zubayr ((R.A) to wear silk because of a skin irritation that they suffered from. (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 10/295, and Muslim, 3/1646

Now, who are the poeple the mahram for a man?
firstly, the word mahram means The causes make things haram so, the mahram means those who are illegal to marry. There are 3 type of people  are haram to marry. 1.Mahram through the blood relationship. 2.Mahrams through the marriage. 3. Mahram through the breastfeeding.
in these 3 group there are 13 type of women haram to marry for a man: what Allah swt. stated in the qur’an 4:23.  You are forbidden to marry your mothers, daughters, sisters, paternal aunts, maternal aunts, nieces, and alike 13 type of womens”

now, we will do a reallty check about the mahrams which means the Common Misconceptions in our socity today. There are some non-mahrams but we act like they are our mahram. We talk to them and go infront of them. Which is totally haram.

1. we beilive our sister in law is my mahram. But they are not and the same way brother in law are haram too. Prophet sw. has stated:“The brother-in-law is death”

2. we act our cousins are our mahrams. Specially, our youngstars  they don’t even know their cousins are not halal for them. Althogh, they can see Muslims marry cousins all the time?

3. Our sisters and women they think  khalu and pupha are mahrams. but, the khalu and fufa are not maram for them. So, the husband of aunts are not mahram.

4. there are some of us we call some people khalu or uncle  and we let our daughters sisters to go infront of them. Or we call our friends daughter/sisters bhatiji or bagni. But, they are not mahram at all.
so, Just because you are calling someone “aunty”, “uncle”, “brother”, “sister” does NOT make them your mahram!

Today,in our socity we think that there is nothing wrong if family members mix openly.Islam doesnt allow this But, Islam gave a nice way to communicate each-other to build up a strong relationship with muslim community.
so, We family are responsible for this type of rules. but, It should be borne in mind that these commands of Allah Ta'aala contain a lot of wisdom. So without questioning them, we should abide thereby. Today we see many marriages failing due to extra-marital affairs with so called “brothers”. A brother-in-law is considered by some women “just like my brother”. Which is totally, haram in Islam.

Dear brothers! The dressing of a modest way for a man and women it should be the way the prophet sw. And his companions wives used to wear. It wont be accepted to Allah if there is any changes come through means you can choose any clothes but if the clothes fail to meet the basic requirements  it will be rejected. What allah swt. Saying 33:36 “It is not fitting for a believing man or woman to exercise any choice in his or her own affairs once God and His Messenger have reached a decision upon them. Anyone who disobeys God and His Messenger is in manifest error”

To conclude this topic i would like remind you the word of Allah he saying 7:26,27 “O son of Adam! We have sent down to you a garment to conceal your shame, and another garment for your elegance; and the garment of piety – that is the best; this is among the signs of Allah, so that they may remember.

O son of Adam, beware! Do not let Satan put you in trial the way he removed your parents(adam and eve) from Paradise and had their garments removed so that their shame become visible to them”
May Allah sw Ta’aala grant us the true understanding of

The modest way of dressing for a man and women.(part-1)

Today, we are going to talk about one of the most important topic which is the modest way of dressing for a man and women.

Allah swt. Sent us to this world to worship him and he gave us  a guideline to lead our life in his right way and the way he commanded us. He is the commander he is the only one to command us what he saying about it 6:102 “Such is Allah, your Lord; and none is worthy of worship except Him; the Creator of all things – therefore worship Him; and He is the Trustee over all things”

So, he is our lord and deserve to command us. Today , we are talking about One of his commandment which is for the men and women to keep a distance from each other those who are not mahram meaning those who are legal to marry and Also, he saying to be careful about your modesty. What Allah swt. Commanding 24:29,30

First he commanded for the men  “ o prophet! Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them”

And then he said to the women “o prophet say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except them 1.their husbands, 2.their fathers, 3.their husband's fathers, 4.their sons, 5.their husbands' sons, 6.their brothers 7.their brothers' sons, 8. their sisters' sons, 9.their women, 10. the slaves whom their right hands possess, 11. male servants free of physical needs, 12. small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; ALLAH swt. saying Except these people do not show your beauty to others  and then Allah swt. Saying  the women should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments”

dear brothers! In this verse Allah swt is giving instruction  to maintain a  distance from any illegal relationship and Also, women cover themselves except that part which appear itself. So, what we got from this verse that Allah swt. Made it obligatory to cover  a certain part of the man and women of thier body. For a man its compulsory to cover from the knee to nevel and for a women whole of her body except her hands and feets and which parts appear itself.

Inshallah, we will continue this topic in next week as the topic is a bit bigger then our short time.Today, we will talk one part of this topic which is  how the women will cover themselves and keep thier modesty.
Before we starts to talk we have to clear one thing that the covering the women’s thier body  this obligation is not from any kind of traddition  or an custume of any nation or this is not a commandment of husband or a father. But, its a commandment from Allah swt which proving the verses we mantioned earlier. So, there is no chance to ignore/ avoid this commandment as a muslim women.because, What Allah swt. Saying 2:85 “so do you believe in some of Allah’s commands and disbelieve in some? So what is the reward of those who do so, except disgrace in this world? And on the Day of Resurrection they will be assigned to the most grievous punishment; and Allah is not unaware of your deeds”
this verse proving that the women has to cover thier body at any cost coz, there’s no chance to say im a muslim and not practicing Alla’s orders or practicing half of his commandment . this is the Allah’s commandment and there is a severe punishment for those who deny it and obey half of the command means not doing properly.
dear brothers!
Another thing what we man should know If a women or girl deny or ignore wearing the hijab there are four man liable means they will be asked for that which Prophet sw. indicating in a hadith “all of you have your own  duty and on the day of judgement you will be asked for your duty”

1.Her father if the father doesnt teach her and not tell her to wear a hijab  2.her brother if the brother doesnt teach her and not tell her to wear a hijab 3. Her husband if the husband doesnt teach her and not tell her to wear a hijab 4. Her son if he son doesn’t tell her to wear a hijab.
so, this is our duty to tell our women to wear a hijab otherwise, we will be asked on the day of joudgment.
now the question is What’s the hijab the clothe most of the women wearing this day's?
the word HIAJB is a arabic word means covering, hiding etc. And the opposite  word is TABARRUJ means adultery,  sexuality etc. So, the cloth we called is  HIJAB its the cloth the women cover their head except their face means headscarf.

Today, this time the most of the women they wear the hijab  for covering themselves which we found in the Qur’an as called jilbab meaning big clothes/scarf which cover the hole body and the JILBAB used to wear by the muslim womens  at the early time of Islam. what Allah swt. Stating in the Qur’an and giving the instruction to the women how they will  cover thier body 33:59  O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters, and the women of the faithful, to draw their wraps a little over them. They will thus be recognised and no harm will come to them. God is forgiving and kind”

How the HIJAB should be?
firstly, its very clear that Islam does allow any kind of clothes by any name to cover women’s body.
secondly, the way most of our girls and sisters wearing the hijab with jeans or shirts or tight burqa they all are failed to meet the requirments of a reall islamic HIJAB. Because,  the clothes or the HIJAB or JILBAB it should be the way the prophet sw. And his companion wives used to wear. It wont be accepted to Allah if there is any changes come through means you can choose any clothes but if the clothes fail to meet the basic requirements  it will be rejected instead of  accepted. What allah swt. Saying 33:36 “
It is not fitting for a believing man or woman to exercise any choice in his or her own affairs once God and His Messenger have reached a decision upon them. Anyone who disobeys God and His Messenger is in manifest error”
There are 6 requirments  to be made sure with the HIJAB means covering the body.

1. The  clothes has to be big enough and also, the clothes has to be thick so that nothing can be seen from outside. Lots of muslim women are wearing such kind of clothes which appears some part of thier body from the outside of her clothes. There is a hadith narreted by aysha siddiqa Ra. She saying once Asma binte abu bakar came to my home with wearing a cloth not enough thik suddenly, prophet sw. Saw her and he turn his face in other way saying “O asmah! When a girl reach her puberty except her face, hands and feet nothing alse shouldn’t be showing”

2. The clothes shouldn’t be desighned with lots of works so, you dont catch peopls attention.

3. The clothes has to be lose enough  so, the body shape isn’t visible. But, in our socaity there are lots of our sisters they wear such a facinating, stylish  HIJAB or headscarf with tight jeans or tight tops which is totally, haram.

4. The clothes shouldn’t be like that the clothes men wear.strictly, Islam disallow the similarity of man and women. What prophet sw. Saying narreted by abdullah ibn abbas RA. “Prophet sw. Curse of Allah to the women those who try to be similar with a man and curse of Allah to the man those who try to be similar with a women”. But,unfortunately there are some muslim women in our socaity if you look at them they look like men.they wearing the man clothes.

5.The clothes It has to be different from the non-believers like a burqa or long dress which are different from the no- believers. There are lots of hadith that saying anything you should make difference from the no-muslim.
6. Such an unknown clothes that our muslim women dont wear. the clothes you are wearing it has to be similar to the muslim women clothes.

Dear brothers! So,its our duty to teach our sisters, daughters  from thier early times and to show them the way prophet sw and his companions wives used to dress. if we fail to maintain our duty we will be asked on the day of judgement as a husband as a father and as a brother and as a son.
so, we ask to Allah swt. May Allah give us tawfiq to teach our sisters, daughters in thier right time.

The A'SHOORAH and The first arabic month of MUHARRAM .

Dear brothers! Allah swt. Created us and he created death and lives also, he created the jamanah/the period to give us the test of the life and the death. He divided the period into day, months, and years. What Allah swt saying 9:36 “Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah”

In this verse we found Allah swt. gave us 12 months. They are the Islamic months and its starts from MUHARRAM and ends to the jilhajjah. We all know the English months but, if we don't know the lunar Islamic months as a Muslim it shouldn’t be like that and it would be considered that we are giving priority to the non- beliebers values, cultures more than our own Islamic values which is HARAM.

Allah swt. Gave us the life and the day, months are comes and  goes but, whoever will be able to use this life in the right way he will be success here and hereafter. what Allah swt. Saying in 103: 1. “I swear by the time 2.Most surely man is in loss 3.Except those who believe and do good, and enjoin on each other truth, and enjoin on each other patience”
in this verses Allah swt. Saying all the people are in loss but, those who will follow Allah and his orders and do good deeds he will be successful. We ask to Allah swt. to grant us with them those who are successful.

Dear brothers! Today 5th of muharram and This is the month of muharram the first arabic month. MEANS the new year started. When a new year comes to a merchant or businessman they count their yearly account. how much they achieved  and how much they lost in their businesses And they try to start the new year with new plans, new manues to improve their business.

But, we as a Muslim the new year comes to us not celebrate but, to think ourselves  how much good deeds we did. and how much we were obedient to practising Allah’s orders in last year. and a new year means to us to make lots repentance  for our misdeeds and should feel regret for the whatever misdeeds we did knowingly or unknowingly in the past year. Also, we should have a new plan for the new year that i wont commit any sins and strictly determined that I will make this plan practical into my daily life.

The most important Two things should be include to our new year plans which are:
1. We will try to avoid whatever we forbidden to do and we will do whatever we obliged to do:  like we are not allowed to get involved ourselves in any haram things. So, we should be determined to stay away from any kind of haram things in this new year. Because, Allah swt. Doesn’t accept any IBADAH while we are involve in  haram.
what prophet sw. Saying narrated by abi hurairah RA. “Allah swt. Is clean means pure and he doesn't accept any impure things and he commanded to the believers to have halal the way he ordered to his prophets to have halal”

so, staying away from harams this should be include to our new year’s plan.

2.we will Try to increase the Quranic/Islamic knowledge:

We are committing some sins unknowingly what we can avoid by increasing our knowledge. How important the seeking knowledge is i don't think i need to explain it. If we see surround of us we can find every single things are under control by the power of knowledge and as a Muslim obviously, it has to be the quranic knowledge. We are committing some sins unknowingly  if you have quranic knowledge you will be able to fight back to the SHYTAN otherwise, he will lose you and take you to the jahannam. there is a hadith prophet sw. Saying “a quranic knowledgable person are stronger against shaytan more then thousands of good doers he who has no proper Quranic knowledge”
so, Let’s think about ourselves where is my position? Do i know who am i? What's my responsibility? Do i know the meaning of kallimah/shahadah? Do i know how to recite the quran? IF I DONT KNOW I SHOULD START LEARNING QUR'AN FROM TODAY.

please, come forward to lean quran and sunnah. in our mosque at the moment we are running some quranic program at after zohor prayer and one is at 10:30 in  the night on every Tuesday. We have opportunities to know our religion.

So, these are the two type of plan should be include in our new years plan.

Dear brothers! This is the month of MUHARRAM.one of the blessed month. After the month of ramadan there are 4 blessed Islamic month which are muharram/julk’ada/julhajja and rajab which prophet sw. Mentioned in his last sermon which was at the mina in his final/last hajj.

Another reason is this month is blessed its because in this month the 10th of muharram/ the day of A’SHOORAH

Mainly, there are two most important history took place on this day which we found from the Qu’ran and reliable sources:

1.On the day of Ashoorah Allah saved prophet musa aw. from the firaun and destroyed firaun and his followers: what Allah sw stating 2:50 “Remember the time when We parted the sea to make way for you and let you pass safely through it and then drowned Pharaoh's people before your very eyes”
2. On this day hussain ra. the grand son of prophet sw. Was brutally Killed in the field of KARBALA in Iraq:
on this story there are lots of fact which we cant finish to describe in this short time. to tell the main part of this story means how hussain ra. become shahid/ martyr. When the people of Kuffa/ people of Iraq they invited hussain RA. To accept him as their khalifa/ leader and take bayat/the oath in his hand. but, in that time the Iraq and s

surrounding area of Iraq was under controlled by yezid the son of muabia RA.

In here what we have to mentioned according to the agreement that hussain RA. Meant to be the khalifa of the muslim ummah after the death of muabia ra. but, His son yezid took the power forcefully and didn't hand over the power to hussain RA. the grand son of prophet sw. what the muslim of kuffan didn't take it easily and this is why they invited hussain RA. To make him their leader.

finally, when he went there the yezid’s commander ziad threatened them and make them scared and then the people of kuffan turned back and finally, they didn't help the hussain RA.
in meanwhile there are lots of things happened and finally, on 61 hijri the 10th of muharram Friday in the field of KARBALA they killed the hussain RA. And his 72 followers including the family members of prophet sw.
what prophet sw mentioned in a hadith that “zibraeel aw. Came to me to give the message that my muslim ummah will kill my this son the hussain RA.and zibraeel brought some red soil with him” sahih al jame albani this hadith reflects this true story.
and since then the muslim ummah are divided into many groups which started from the killing of third innocent  khalifa USMAN ra.
but, today what the group of shia do on this day in the name of showing their sympathy to hussain RA. on the day of 10th muharrram which is nothing related with islam.
so, these are the true story which happened on the day of 10th muharram we found them QURAN and hadith and from reliable book of islamic history.

But, there are some saying that on this day Allah swt. Created sky and land and the flood of nooh aw. And the the tawbah of adam and eve accepted, Allha saved ibrahim from the fire of nomrud and alike these are baseless nothing from sahih hadith and reliable sources.
now the question is what should we do on that day the 10th of muharram/the day of ashoorah?
As we mentioned before after the ramadan this is the month one of the great blessed month. prophet sw saying narrated by abi hurairah ra.
“after the fasting, praying in the month of ramadan in this month the month of Allah the nawafil fasting, praying in the night are GREAT REWARDABLE”
specially, the 10th of muharram the day of ashoorah on this day prophet musa aw. Got najat from the firaun and he did fasting to show his gratefulness to Allah sw.

This is why prophet sw. Used to do fast on the day of ashoorah .The ashoorah word means 10th.so, the 10th of the muharram called ashoorah.
“prophet sw. Asked about this day he said fasting on this day its make up for the sins what committed in the past year.”
Narreted by abi Qatadah RA. (muslim)
So, we should fast on this day as well as 9th of muharram the day before ashoorah. Its because the people of other religion the chrichtian  used to do fast on this day at the early time of islam. When prophet sw. saw that he told his sahabah make difference from them and he said in a hadith “Inshalla if i be alive in next year ill fast on 9th of muharram as well” narreted by ibn abbas RA. (muslim)

May Allah give us tawfiq to do fast on the 12th and 13th of the november! May Allah give us tawfiq to do extra nawafil prayers and fasting in this month

sometimes Why Allah swt. Doe’s give us sadness, sorrows and why he doesn’t give to the non- believers?

Sometimes we think i meant sometimes some question comes in our mind that why Allah swt. Gives us sadness and why Allah gives happiness to non-believers.  Although, we are muslim. we worship him and we are follower of the Deen of Allah swt. He said in the holy Qur’an.  3:19 The only true religion in God's sight is complete submission to God”

In this context Allah swt. And his messengar sw. Gave answar in many places in the qur’an and hadith.

Before going to answer these question there is another question . The question is why this kind of question comes in our mind? There are lots of reason and the most common reason are:

1st Its a satanic bad influence: Always, satan try to make us to stay away from the deen of Allah swt. Satan make us to think  worldly things and get too inbolved  to this dunia.
2nd When we go to compare ourselves to others, we get deceived and finally, forget the Deen of Allah swt. And then we start to think like that But, the prophet sw. saying “look at them those who are not top of you”
so, these are the reasons the questions comes in our mind.
Now, let’s go to back our main questions
there are two part of this question:

1st . why he is giving the non-believers happiness?
The reason is whoever wants here everything instead of akhira Allah gives here.
what Allah swt. Saying 17:18 ”We give whatever We will to whoever desires immediate gains; but then We have prepared Hell for him which he will enter, disgraced and rejected”
Also, prophet sw. Saying. “The world is like a paradise for non-believers and the world is like a  prison for believers”

But, question is why he is giving them here?
firstly,  Allah saying the truth why he is giving  3:178 “Do not let the, non-believers imagine that the respite We give them is good for them. We give them respite so that they may grow in wickedness. A humiliating chastisement lies in store for them”.
secondly, It’s because, their good deeds/ actions. Sometimes they do very good things. There’s  a hadith prophet sw. Saying “they are the people  whatever good deeds they do in this world they get the rewards for it here and nothing left in hereafter” (bukhari)

in these hadith and verses of the qur’an we find the answers why they are looks happy more then us. Its because they get everything here and nothing in hereafter.

On the other hand the 2nd  question is:
why sometimes Allah swt. Give us sorrows or sadness?
To answer this question  we find many reason what Allah and his messenger sw. stated in the qur’an and sunnah.
Some of them are:

no1: Allah  swt give us difficulties to test us that have we patience / sabar in the critical situations.

When the difficulties come this is the time to show patience instead of losing hope to Allah swt. 2:155“And We will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits; and give good news to the patient

2:153“O you who believe! Seek assistance through patience and prayer; surely Allah is with the patient”.

So, when difficulty befalls us. It’s a test of our eeman and also, Its make our eeman stronger. At the time of difficulty a true believer steadfast on his faith and those who have weak in eeman they make question to Allah and complain.

In another verse Allah swt saying 29:2,3 “Do men think they will get away by saying: "We believe," and will not be tried? We had tried those who were before them so that God knew who spoke the truth, and who were liars

2nd reason is it’s a warning that we don’t forget him:

Some of us we are very busy towards dunia we forget Allah’s punishment in hereafter. We forget our life’s main target. Its very common to us when we fall in any critical situations we call to Allah swt. We remember to Allah swt.  What Allah swt. Saying 30:41 “Chaos appears in the land and the sea because of the evil deeds which people’s hands have earned, in order to make them taste the flavour of some of their misdeeds – in order that they may come back”

3rd reason its wash Away our sins:
Everyday intentionally or unintentionally  we are committing many sins  some are big(the kabira) and some are the small (the sagirah).
prophet sw. Saying in a hadith “whatever difficulty befalls a mu’min even a thorn prick him Allah forgives his sins for that reason”.
so, they are the reason why we face the difficulties.

Dear brothers! Now the question is what should we do when we fall in any trouble or sorrows?

The difficulties comes it’s not difficulties. it’s a test of our eeman as much as stronger our eeman Allah will take the hardest test what we can see those whom we know a great scholar but, they are in trouble by the tyranny. Its because, they are much closer to Allah swt. But,they are steadfast on thier way.
dear brothers! we believers shouldn’t be unhappy/ disobedient to Allah when difficulties comes to us instead we should have sabar and patience and hope from Allah swt. We shouldn’t be decieved by the happiness of the non-believers or by metarialistics world. We should be thankful to Allah in all the situations. As much as we grateful to him he will give much more than that. He saying in the quran 14:6 "I shall give you more if you are grateful; but if you are thankless then surely My punishment is very great."

So, lets ask to Allah O Allah! give us tawfiq to be happy in all circumstances like prophet sw. Companions.
O Allah give us tawfiq to follow the qur’an and sunnah!
