Celebrating The day of christmas'13

Allah swt. sent us to this earth to worship him alone. Also, to show his right path/true religion Allah swt sent thousands of messengers to the world from the beginning of time to the last Prophet Mohammad sw.

According to the hadith of prophet sw. time by time Allah swt. sent more than 124,000 prophets. except a number of people all the people denied the prophet hood and the message of oneness of Allah Awt. not only did they tried to stop them from preaching but also, they made fun of them and mocked them finally, they tried to kill them and also, they made some false accusation or story about their prophet hood. For example what Allah swt. saying 9:30 “Some of the Jews have said that Ezra is the son of God and Christians have said the same of Jesus. This is only what they say and it is similar to what the unbelievers who lived before them had said”
In another verse Allah swt. saying 5:18 “The Jews and the Christians said,“We are the sons of Allah and His beloved ones”

Like that At the time of our beloved prophet sw. the
polytheist/the Meccan kaffir they said what Allah swt. saying 25:7And they said, “What is the matter with this (Noble) Messenger, that he eats food and walks in the markets? Why was not an angel sent down along with him, to give warning along with him?”
This is how people denied Allah swt. and his noble messengers.

Dear brothers! This is the month of December. One of the festive  month for the Christians all over the world. The Christians celebrate the 25th of December as Jesus’ birth day Which is Christmas day. On that day they celebrate and give gift each-other.
Today............., briefly we will discuss some points on Christianity and the celebrations of Christmas day.
Firstly, the Christian their belief God is eternally supreme as the creator and preserver of the world. The trinity exists as three beings in one godhead: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. One being, three persons. Three persons, one God.

Now there is a raising questions that really, this kind of belief  are they making any true or logical sense?
They are saying Jesus is son of Allah swt. means he is a god(nauzu billah) how come someone with a human nature could be a God? Because, human makes mistake and not perfect. Is it possible Allah to make mistakes? Doesn’t he need to sleep? If he would have done any mistake the world won’t be like that like sun is rising-setting everyday not delaying or being mixed it up.
And Again if he Jesus was a God than before his birth means more than 2000 years ago wasn’t there any god? Without a god who control the world? There are many questions along with their belief.

What We Muslims believe that Allah swt. is as he is 42:11nothing is like Him; and He only is the All Hearing, the All Seeing” 112: “He is Allah, He is One.” (1) “Allah is the Un-wanting.” (Perfect, does not require anything.) (2) “He has no offspring, nor is He born from anything.” (3) “And there is none equal to Him.” (4)

Also, we believe Allah SWT. has been revealing Himself to mankind since the beginning of time. This revelation began with Prophet Adam (peace be upon him), the first man, and continued throughout history until the time of Muhammad (peace be upon him), the last of the Prophets and Allah's seal on all that had been revealed. Also, we believe all the prophets brought one massage which is submitting towards one true god who is Allah the almighty.

We deeply love prophet Jesus aw. We respect him as he was a true worshiper and messenger of Allah swt.19:30 "He ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;"

Indeed! if we disrespect him or deny him we won’t be a true believers. we believe him what he said himself 61:6 And remember when Eisa the son of Maryam said, “O Descendants of Israel! Indeed I am Allah’s Noble Messenger towards you, confirming the Book Torah which was before me, and heralding glad tidings of the Noble Messenger who will come after me – his name is Ahmed (the Praised One)”; so when Ahmed came to them with clear proofs, they said, “This is an obvious magic.”
so, this is a brief summery about the belief of Christianity.

Our second question was about what are they celebrating on the day of 25th of December is this the true birth date of jesus aw. and who is santa clause or what is the true story behind the Christmas tree?
Briefly, the day of 25th of December wasn’t the birth day of Jesus sw. there is a disagreement with the Christian scholars and it is not mention in their bible nor is there is any evidence in the Qur’an and hadith too.
Not until the year 530 C.E., that a monk, Dionysus Exigus, fixed the date of the birth of Jesus on Dec. 25th. “He wrongly dated the birth of Christ according to the Roman system (i.e., 754 years after the founding of Rome) as Dec. 25, 753″. (Encyclopedia Britannica, 1998 ed.) This date was chosen perhaps in keeping with the holidays already indoctrinated into pagans.

Another point is Jesus was born in a place where sheeps were kept at the city of Bethlehem in Palestine and the time was at night or early morning before sun rise.

The point is on the 25th of December the weather is freezing even in the Palestine and there was a belief; That night, some shepherds were in the fields near his birth place Bethlehem, keeping watch over their flocks of sheep. How come they were outside in the cold night in this weather?

So, what im verifying is that the date of the birth of jesus(pbh)  it could be around summer time but not exactly 25th of December.
On the other hand, santa clause or the Christmas tree they are made up stuff by the Christian scholar for the commercial purposes.
The “Santa” Character was further developed in 1809 when an amusing but inaccurate history of Dutch traditions was written. the word ‘Santa Claus’ appears nowhere in the bible. However Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus) was a real person, bishop, who was born 300 years after Jesus (pbuh). According to legend he was extremely kind and went out at night to distribute presents to the needy.

He died 6th December and on that day people starts giving gifts each-other and later on queen Victoria changed the date on the night of 24th of December which is now known as Christmas eve. Also, the decorated Christmas tree is worthless. Jesus pbh. Did nothing with it, in fact old testament saying Jaremiah 10:2,3. “Don’t learn the ways of the nations. They cut a tree out of the forest. They adorn it with silver and gold, they fasten it with hammer and nails”
so, according to their belief God forbidden this tree stuff.

What Every Muslim Should know About celebrating Christmas?
There are some brothers who are taken part in the celebration knowingly or unknowingly Like:
1. Wishing Happy Merry Christmas or giving cards or giving wine which means you are legislating that Jesus Christ is a son of Allah or his birth day on this day which is against the evidence of the Qur’an and the ahaadith of prophet sw. Also, its against of our belief which is worshipping the creator not his creations.
2. Making special food like turkey Christmas dinner and putting the Christmas tree in the house which is imitating  the Christians. Islam strictly not only prohibits to imitate other costume or religions but also, commanding to make difference from other nations.

Dear brothers! We were talking about the birth of the Jesus pbh. And the Christmas day and their false belief. We will continue this topic in next weeks.
We deeply love Jesus as a true messenger of Allah swt. But not a son of God. We shouldn’t be part of their celebrations as it is considered that we are legislating their belief. Again, what we testify is that there is non worthy of worship accept Allah swt. He is alone has no partner and also, we testify that the prophet mohammed pbh. Is allah’s messenger and a worshiper. We also, testify that the prophet Jesus pbh is a true worshiper and a true messenger of Allah swt.
May Allah swt. give the non believers the taufiq to follow the right path/to get the hedayah.
May Allah swt. give us tawfiq to follow the guidance of Qu’ran and sunnah. Aameen!
